Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quality Engineer in Rayong, Thailand. Meaning most of time you'll work in factories in Rayong, other time you can work from home. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through quality engineering, control, assurance, and management practices. You will be involved in the day-to-day tasks of monitoring product quality, conducting quality audits, developing quality control procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Quality Engineering, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance skills
• Experience in product quality management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
• Experience in conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
• Quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma) are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

Technical Expertise:

Develop and maintain technical data sheets for all plumbing products within your assigned area.

Possess a general understanding of relevant certifications like cUPC, NSF61, NSF372, AB100, HVI, CSA, Energy Star, WaterSense, UL, and/or ETL.

Plumbing product experience is highly valuable (although home items industry experience is also considered).

Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC):

Implement quality standards and create control processes

Conduct inspections, testing, and data analysis to ensure consistent product quality.

Travel:

Regular travel is required to HW factories, not limited to those in Rayong, but other places in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and China

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Min.3 years quality assurance experience

Hardware, tools, plumbing industry

Fluent in English (spoken & written).

Independent, self-motivated, and results-oriented.

Confident with the ability to challenge the status quo for measurable improvements.

Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is a benefit (but not mandatory).

Previous work experience in an international company (preferably USA company) in a QA/QC role is beneficial.
