Quality Engineer

Job Descriptions

1. Develop quality control plans and communicate key methodologies and critical points related to quality control.
2. Review and continuously improve quality control plans to ensure their ongoing effectiveness.
3. Establish standards for Incoming Inspection to ensure inspections are conducted in compliance with defined requirements, including organizing quality system training to ensure inspectors have a thorough understanding.
4. Develop quality control training plans to enhance employees knowledge and understanding of quality control principles and practices.
5. Define inspection standards for each production process, including inspection scope and procedures, and conduct training to improve the efficiency of quality control personnel.
6. Establish inspection measures for Finished Goods (FG), define inspection criteria in accordance with requirements, and conduct training to ensure inspections are performed correctly and effectively.
7. Develop machinery inspection processes and organize training to improve operational efficiency.
8. Establish testing standards, testing methods, and measurement procedures, clearly define detailed work instructions, and conduct training to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
9. Control and monitor drawings, Statistical Process Control (SPC), inspection equipment, and quality indicators in the production process in a timely manner to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
10. Collect quality data generated throughout the production process and analyze trends and statistical data when quality issues arise.
11. Manage quality issues occurring within the production process in a timely manner by conducting problem analysis, identifying root causes in collaboration with relevant departments, and implementing corrective and preventive actions at the source.
12. Follow up on quality issues to ensure they are thoroughly resolved and verify that implemented measures are effective and compliant with established standards.
13. Develop improvement plans and implement quality enhancements, including improvements to measuring instruments and tools, to increase production efficiency and reduce quality defects.
14. Improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs by enhancing efficiency and improving testing processes.
15. Work collaboratively with Production, Research and Development, Engineering/Tools and Techniques, Purchasing, and other related departments to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement of the quality management system.
16. Regularly report on quality system performance to supervisors and communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and information sharing.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or higher.
2. Age between 25–45 years.
3. At least 3 years of experience in quality control or related fields.
4. Knowledge and competency in quality-related areas, including:
5. Quality management principles
6. Industrial/manufacturing processes
7. Statistical analysis
8. ISO 9001 quality management system
9. Professional Engineer (PE) license or other relevant certifications will be given special consideration.
10. Good communication skills and strong learning ability.
11. Strong problem-solving skills, with capabilities in innovation, planning, and efficient execution of tasks.
