Individual in this position will be responsible for root causes analysis, validating assembly stations, conducting MSA & Capability Studies, creating essential documents such as PFD, PFMEA, and Control Plans, analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, developing, and implementing solutions, and working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize performance.
The role requires a deep understanding of quality engineering principles and a hands-on approach to improving manufacturing processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the validation of assembly stations to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for improving quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Create and update Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) documents to identify and mitigate potential failure modes.
- Develop Control Plans (CP) to ensure that critical process parameters are monitored and controlled effectively.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in quality engineering within the automotive manufacturing industry.
- knowledge of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA)
- ISO9001/IATF 16949 exposure or audit experience
- Data driven Six-Sigma green belt preferred.
