Role Overview:

As a Quantitative Analyst, you will leverage your analytical and programming skills to support the writing, testing, and optimization of trading strategies, cleaning and storage of large datasets, creating, testing, and implementing risk and trading models. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, document, and implement data-driven solutions that improve the efficiency of trading and investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

API Development & Testing:

• Maintain RESTful APIs for algo trading platforms, ensuring integration with trading systems.
• Conduct testing of APIs, ensuring compliance with infosec best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance and functionality.

Algorithmic Trading Strategies:

• Develop and back test algorithmic trading strategies using advanced quantitative models and historical data.
• Continuously monitor the performance of live trading strategies, improving existing strategies
• Document and present trading strategies and algorithms.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors in engineering or maths or physics.
• MBA is a plus but not mandatory.

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in any tech related job.
• Data Science/Engineering is a plus.

Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python (MUST). Knowledge of MATLAB, R and functional programming is a plus.

Competencies:

• Analytical Skills: Ability to work with large datasets and develop strategies based on statistical analysis and market behaviour.
• Python Programming Expertise: Strong skills in building and maintaining APIs, data pipelines, and trading systems
• Problem-Solving: Capable of troubleshooting complex systems and optimizing strategies in real-time.
• Communication: Clear ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams, including traders and risk managers.
• Adaptability: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing market conditions and strategy requirements.
