Main Purposes of the Job:
To support business growth and performance, R&D development is continuously needed. Development and improvement concerning to make more our products superior as well as value engineering program are also needed to stay competitive in the market. This development covers the work from concept until launch and covers recipe, packaging and process/ technology.
Currently KHC SSEA has no own lab/plant/factory. Hence it is critical to collaborate and leverage with affiliates or copacker to achieve the goal/ result.
Detailed Job Responsibilities:
- Main and single point of contact for SSEA product design & monitoring, Responsible for its end to end: formulation, recipe, sensory, packaging & process- collaborating with R&D partner in affiliate/ copacker.
- Responsible for Product innovation: development for new product, from Core PPA, line extension / disruptive innovation.
- Responsible for Product renovation & maintenance: improvement, reduction, change control to ensure superiority, optimization, competitiveness and compliance of the product in the market regulation & in Kraft Heinz standard/ policy
- Collaborate & involve in solving problems which arise in daily operation relating to our product sensory, formula, packaging and process
- Lead & Manage project timeline foll all categories in 2-3 years forecast, with proactively drive and propose potential and opportunity of product
- Lead & translate commercial & marketing objective/ brief to technical needs of the products
- Lead technical/ feasibility assessment. Ensure development stages / gates in collaboration with Marketing (incl trade marketing), SCD/ project manager, procurement, FSQ, RA, manufacturing
- Report on project status, issues and implemented solutions as well as evaluations and assessments of the results
- Lead product competitor monitoring & benchmarking (including internal benchmarking cross sourcing)
- Lead R&D ZBB budget development and control align with business priorities and needs
- Support & Collaborate working with global, regional or other affiliate team on any development / implementation regarding process, system in product development.
- Drive and influence the importance of SSEA projects and priorities in affiliates & Copacker side
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science & Technology, Chemical Engineering, Technical Engineering, Pharmacy
- More than 5-7 years experience in multinational FMCG companies, handling multi categories, countries.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and experience in end-to-end process of product development from sensorial mapping, product analytical, food additive, ingredients & formulation, packaging and technicality process.
- Good Knowledge in formulation, processing, Ingredients and characteristics of food products
- Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, Food Safety and ISO 9001:2002
- Good in culinary and sensory capability is preferable
- Understanding of Southeast Asia: mainly Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia market & environment is a plus
- Understanding of both retail (B2C) & food service (B2B) business is a plus
- Proficient in MS office (MS Project, PPT, Excel)
- Able to professionally communicate in English
- Ability to work in multicultural environment
- Ability to work with multi-facet categories, countries
