Conduct research and development of new food products and improve existing products in line with consumer needs, market trends, and business strategies
Design, develop, and optimize product formulations, including the selection of suitable raw materials and processing technologies
Develop and optimize production processes at both pilot-scale and industrial-scale levels to support efficient commercial manufacturing
Perform product testing related to quality, food safety, shelf-life, and sensory evaluation
Plan and execute production trials, scale-up activities, and product deployment to manufacturing plants, ensuring products meet quality, cost, and operational requirements
Monitor and resolve issues arising during production trials and after commercialization
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product development projects
Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, manufacturing standards, and technology transfer materials for production facilities
Stay updated on food industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer insights to drive continuous product innovations
Qualification
Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D Product Development and/or Product Deployment within the food industry.
Experience in product commercialization, process scale-up, factory trials, and technology transfer.
Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality systems, and food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, BRCGS, and/or FSSC 22000.
Understanding of production cost management, raw material selection, and commercial product development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel to manufacturing plants in upcountry locations for trials and deployment activities.
