If you are looking for a challenge and career development this position maybe right for you .Cormix International Ltd a British Construction Chemicals Company with its manufacturing base in Bangkok is looking for a dynamic R and D chemist to join its team in Thailand .Cormix business is expanding quickly overseas and looks for an innovative R and D chemist to join our team in Bangkok to develop further our technologies based on polyurethanes for grouts ,mortars, foams and gels
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Run a wide variety of projects .
- Meet with management and key customers to understand their objectives, deliver presentations, explain project results .
- Develop projects and tasks based on management guidance, annual and three year plan .
- Project review, analyse results, conclusions and determine the next steps.
- Lead development projects and complete as per the agreed time lines .
- Develop new products and trial with customers
- Take the new product to the market with the sales and marketing teams.
- Product stewardship meeting safety standards and complying with them in formulating.
- Evaluate raw materials and cut cost .
- You will be exposed to many technologies that make up our innovative portfolio and will need to be a fast learner
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 4-6 years in industrial chemistry two in R and D with polyurethane technology preferably in associated industries to construction chemicals
- Experience with polyurethanes injection foams ,resins and gels , PU grouts and mortars , elastomeric concrete , Silicate PU grouts .
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry
- You will be used to multi tasking , be flexible and experienced in providing customer support
- You should be innovative and creative and used to sourcing raw materials as well as researching and developing new products .
- Good English communication skills ,reading and writing
- Sound MS Office ,Excel and Power point skills
- Self motivated , flexible and able to learn quickly .The core competencies of Cormix revolve around , Ground Improvement , Under ground construction , Rail embedment , Concrete Repair ,specialist grouts ,Injection foams , resins and gels .You will need to be able to adapt and learn quickly to get up to speed with the technologies in Cormix business
