Flexible Packaging Research & Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead R&D projects from concept to launch
- Strong in both technical and commercial aspects, able to support sales team and expand the customer base through R&D-driven solutions.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional R&D team
- Stay updated on FDA, EFSA, circular economy, and sustainability trends
- Explore and implement new food-packaging technologies
- Collaborate with sales, QA, production, and supply-chain teams
- Ensure projects meet technical, cost, and time targets
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters in Life, Food, Chemical, Material Sciences, or Business Management (R&D focus)
- Experience:810 years in R&D roles 35 years managing teams and projects
- Technical skills: strong grasp of relevant methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of food-packaging at primary, secondary, tertiary levels (advantage)
- Familiarity with FDA, EFSA, circular economy, sustainability
