Role Description The Recruitment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangkok, focused on attracting and hiring talent to support Holland America Line's business and operational needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring managers with selection decisions. The role involves drafting and posting job advertisements, maintaining accurate candidate records, and ensuring a positive and inclusive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The Recruitment Specialist collaborates closely with HR and business leaders to understand workforce requirements, support workforce planning, and ensure compliance with company policies and local labor regulations. This role also contributes to employer branding initiatives, attends career events as needed, and helps continuously improve recruitment practices and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong talent acquisition and recruitment skills, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and offer support.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, and external recruitment agencies.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR databases, and standard office software (e.g., MS Office suite).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and deadlines.
- Understanding of basic employment regulations and best practices in fair, inclusive, and non-discriminatory hiring.
- Experience in hospitality, travel, maritime, or related industries is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and provide a high level of service to internal stakeholders.
