Job Description:
1. Budgeting & Actual Performance Control
- Collaborate with the team to prepare the Asia & Oceania consolidated budget and actual performance reports.
- Coordinate with subsidiary companies to collect and analyze financial data for the Asia & Oceania consolidation.
- Review and monitor the accuracy and completeness of subsidiary budget planning.
- Monitor and support subsidiaries to ensure timely submission of financial reports through the reporting system.
- Coordinate and communicate with other divisions, subsidiaries, and Headquarters (when required) to execute budgeting and actual reporting activities.
- Monitor subsidiaries cash flow and provide timely recommendations to ensure smooth operations and compliance with the Global Treasury Policy.
- Monitor global economic trends and foreign exchange movements, utilizing bank forecasts to estimate exchange rates and support the budgeting process.
2. Compliance & Governance
- Lead initiatives to strengthen governance and internal controls across subsidiaries by implementing recommendations from the Regional Audit team.
- Lead efforts to minimize tax risks in subsidiaries by coordinating with tax consultants and local persons-in-charge (PICs).
- Ensure subsidiaries comply with the Global Treasury Policy and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve requests for new bank account openings, credit facility applications, and loan requests.
- Continuously monitor subsidiary cash flow to maintain adequate liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Identify potential cash flow risks and provide strategic recommendations to support smooth business operations.
3. Master Data Management
- Support subsidiaries in Thailand with the creation and maintenance of master data, including vendor and customer master records.
4. Other Responsibilities
- Perform other assignments within the Regional Finance & Business Planning Division as assigned.
- Coordinate and organize AO Accounting Manager Meetings and other regional finance activities.
- Support committee activities, internal control initiatives, and other corporate governance projects.
- Participate in regional finance improvement projects and other ad hoc assignments as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Budget Planning, or Regional Finance.
- Experience in a multinational company or regional finance environment is preferred.
- Good knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, accounting operations, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Understanding of SOX, internal controls, corporate governance, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
- Good leadership, communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, accountable, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
