Role Summary
The role is responsible for shaping and executing the communication and digital marketing strategy across Southeast Asia, ensuring strong brand visibility, consistent messaging, and an enhanced customer experience across all markets. The incumbent will work closely with regional and local teams to drive impactful campaigns, strengthen digital presence, and support business growth across key segments.
Role Responsibilities
1. Regional Communication Strategy
- Define and drive the SEA communication strategy across countries in alignment with regional and global objectives.
- Collaborate closely with SEA Marketing Managers, local Marketing teams, APMEASA Marketing, and Group Communication teams to establish clear and consistent messaging across brands and key pillars.
- Develop and implement a regional communication action plan to support strategic business ambitions.
- Partner with local Marcom teams to build and align annual communication plans by country.
- Monitor, consolidate, and report on communication activities across SEA, ensuring alignment with plans and objectives.
- Ensure all communication outputs comply with Group Brand guidelines, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
2. Digital Presence & Customer Experience
- Lead the development and execution of regional digital strategies, including websites, social media, and partner platforms.
- Act as the key interface between SEA countries and the APMEASA Digital team to drive alignment and execution.
- Ensure continuous improvement in digital platforms (websites, social media, e-catalogues), focusing on performance, user experience, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze digital performance metrics across SEA markets and develop actionable insights, including SEO and content optimization strategies.
- Elevate brand visibility and customer experience (CX) across all owned digital channels.
3. Content & Marketing Tools Development
- Design and implement communication tools and content strategies to support both regional priorities and market-specific needs (e.g., Retail, Hospitality, Data Centers, Smart Home).
- Collaborate with SEA Marketing Managers and local Marcom teams to develop impactful, market-relevant content.
- Standardize and optimize communications for key regional verticals, such as Hospitality, Data Centers, Smart Home, Retail, and Wiring Devices.
- Support the execution of marketing assets and activities, including exhibition booths, brochures, and internal/external events.
4. Digital Transformation
- Identify and promote scalable digital initiatives to be deployed across SEA subsidiaries.
- Support the local implementation of Group-level digital communication initiatives, ensuring adoption and effectiveness.
5. Regional Collaboration
- Foster strong cross-country collaboration and knowledge-sharing across SEA markets.
- Encourage best practice sharing to drive consistency, innovation, and efficiency across teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end digital marketing portfolios, including strategy development and execution.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in integrated communications, including digital marketing, social media management, SEO, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Proven experience in event planning, organization, and execution.
- Proficient in general software applications, with practical experience in web-based platforms and tools.
