About The Job

Compliance in Allianz Technology Group operates as a highly integrated function spanning over all local presences of Allianz Technology globally. The role is to steer, oversee and manage the regional compliance function and associated risks. It includes support and guidance on compliance matters on escalated topics with focus on compliance risks management, streamlining operational processes across the relevant regions, developing compliance oversight and monitoring strategy for local branches and entities in scope

What You Do

  • Coordinate and lead regional compliance function, lead as a functional manager local compliance officers within relevant region
  • Ensure implementation of relevant compliance programs and corporate rules to address compliance risks in line with local legal and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate and lead regional compliance oversight and assurance programs including controls testing, targeted reviews, spot-checks etc.
  • Interface and closely cooperate with various stakeholders including key control and safeguarding functions
  • Ensure sharing of best practices lessons learnt across the region
  • Provide business-oriented compliance advise to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations
  • Identify, evaluate and monitor compliance risks across the regio and all key pillars and segments of the business

What You Bring

  • Higher education degree in business informatics, business administration, IT, law etc.
  • Min. 10 years of professional experience in a Compliance function or in another safeguarding function
  • Leadership experience ideally in a Compliance function
  • Excellent understanding of a state-of-the-art internal control system
  • Applying analytical thinking, negotiation and conflict management skills as well as moderation and presentation techniques; team player mentality
  • Competence to manage tasks in demanding and unfamiliar situations with problem solving skills based on practice and precedent
  • Sound and comprehensive communications skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse international environment
  • Very good command of English
  • Highest standards of integrity
