Job Description

  • Shape and implement regional financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives
  • Act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, providing insights on performance, planning, and growth opportunities
  • Oversee financial reporting across multiple markets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities for the region
  • Monitor financial performance indicators and communicate key insights to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and global financial standards across all entities
  • Strengthen internal controls, financial systems, and reporting frameworks
  • Collaborate with global teams to align processes and enhance system capabilities
  • Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies in coordination with relevant teams
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
  • Take ownership of regional cash flow planning and contribute to global cash flow consolidation
  • Build and lead a regional finance team, providing coaching and fostering a high-performance culture
  • Partner with country finance leaders to drive execution and alignment across markets

The Successful Applicant

  • Professional finance and accounting qualification (CPA, CPD, or equivalent)
  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in finance, including leadership exposure
  • Strong background in financial strategy, reporting, compliance, and planning
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., IFRS and local GAAPs)
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic mindset
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial tools, and Excel
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and hands-on approach
  • Industry experience in trading, commodities, or related sectors is advantageous
