Job Description
- Shape and implement regional financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, providing insights on performance, planning, and growth opportunities
- Oversee financial reporting across multiple markets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities for the region
- Monitor financial performance indicators and communicate key insights to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and global financial standards across all entities
- Strengthen internal controls, financial systems, and reporting frameworks
- Collaborate with global teams to align processes and enhance system capabilities
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies in coordination with relevant teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting quality
- Take ownership of regional cash flow planning and contribute to global cash flow consolidation
- Build and lead a regional finance team, providing coaching and fostering a high-performance culture
- Partner with country finance leaders to drive execution and alignment across markets
The Successful Applicant
- Professional finance and accounting qualification (CPA, CPD, or equivalent)
- 8-10+ years of progressive experience in finance, including leadership exposure
- Strong background in financial strategy, reporting, compliance, and planning
- Solid understanding of accounting standards across multiple jurisdictions (e.g., IFRS and local GAAPs)
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic mindset
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial tools, and Excel
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and hands-on approach
- Industry experience in trading, commodities, or related sectors is advantageous
