Overview
We are seeking an experienced Regional Finance Director to lead the financial strategy, operations, and performance management across multiple countries. This role suits a seasoned finance leader with strong regional exposure, business partnering capability, and experience working in dynamic healthcare markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee regional financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting across multiple countries.
- Lead regional performance management, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership to drive growth and operational efficiency.
- Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, internal controls, and alignment with global finance policies.
- Partner closely with country finance leaders, regional commercial teams, and global headquarters to support business initiatives and strategic decisions.
- Manage regional consolidation, including month-end close, reporting accuracy, variance analysis, and financial commentaries.
- Drive process improvement, standardisation, and digitalisation of regional financial workflows.
- Support Managing Directors and Country General Managers with financial guidance on pricing, investment proposals, cost optimisation, and risk management.
- Lead financial due diligence or integration efforts for new markets, partnerships, or M&A initiatives when needed.
- Represent the region in cross-functional global finance projects and ensure timely communication across stakeholders.
- Travel occasionally to regional markets to provide on-site support, reviews, and alignment with local teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1015 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a regional leadership role.
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or related industries is an advantage.
- Proven track record in FP&A, business partnering, financial operations, and regional stakeholder management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills within a matrix environment.
- Ability to work effectively across cultures and manage stakeholders in multiple countries.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel within the region when required.
