Working Location: Gaysorn Amarin Tower, BTS Chitlom

Working Hours: 5 days / week (Hybrid: 2 day from the office, 3 days from home)

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Regional Finance Director APAC, the role is responsible for consolidating, managing and reporting the financials for the APAC region.

Key responsibilities include ensuring robust financial compliance and internal controls across all markets in the region, through comprehensive review and analysis of regional financial statement submissions. The role requires ensuring full adherence to company policies and relevant accounting standards, while proactively identifying and communicating key risks, opportunities, and performance drivers to senior leadership.

The Regional Finance Manager plays an instrumental role in driving financial excellence across the APAC Region, acting as trusted business partner to regional and local teams. The Regional Finance Manager will also develop a culture of accountability and continuous improvements across the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for consolidating, reviewing and approving the regional Financial Statement submissions, ensuring they are submitted on time, comply to company policy and with clear risks and opportunities identified.
  • Act as the key finance contact and link between the APAC Region and the various Finance teams, performing variance analysis and explaining key movements in the accounts.
  • Ensure Financial Compliance across the region, making sure COSO controls are in place and adhered to, by tracking them through the COSO control checklist.
  • Project Manager for the region, taking responsibility and ownership for any projects impacting the region, including tracking and reporting of progress.
  • Become the key contact for support in the region on HFM, SAP and any other applicable systems. Be the master user and train regional colleagues.
  • Support Local Finance teams in all aspect of finance items, including audit, tax and statutory compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in financial reporting and controls compliance for multiple APAC entities is a plus.
  • Previous experience in leading teams and inspiring high levels of employee engagement.
  • Strong MS Office knowledge (especially MS Excel skills, with interest and aptitude to work with large data).
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Highly analytical skills and with a hands-on approach.
  • Demonstrate ability and flexibility to adapt quickly to new requirements.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle complex financial data and workflow.
  • Positive, Proactive and Results oriented.
