Job Description

The Regional Government Affairs & Strategic ProjectsManager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategicrelationships with government agencies, investment promotion authorities,industrial parks, and business associations across the Asia-Pacific region.

This role will support the company's manufacturingexpansion, investment projects, government incentive programs, regulatoryengagement, sustainability initiatives, and strategic partnerships. Thesuccessful candidate will work closely with regional management and countryteams to drive long-term business growth through effective governmentengagement and public-private collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional government affairs strategies across APAC.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, investment authorities, and industry associations.
  • Support manufacturing expansion, investment projects, and government incentive applications.
  • Monitor regulatory and policy developments and provide strategic advice to management.
  • Lead cross-functional strategic projects and regional business initiatives.
  • Coordinate regulatory approvals and government engagement for new investments.
  • Represent the Company in meetings with government bodies and external stakeholders.
  • Support ESG, sustainability, and public-private partnership initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, business proposals, and presentations for senior management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Regional Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Law, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Government Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Public Policy, Business Development, or Strategic Projects, preferably in a multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of APAC government policies, investment promotion, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government agencies and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region.
  • Proficient in English additional Asian language skills are an advantage.
