Regional Head of Compliance

LMA Recruitment is partnering with a leading brokerage firm to search for a senior compliance leader to strengthen and further develop its regional compliance function.

This is a hands-on, build-and-improve role for someone with strong experience in establishing, enhancing and harmonising compliance frameworks across multiple business lines and jurisdictions. The candidate will be involved in reviewing existing structures, identify gaps, implement robust policies, controls and monitoring processes, and drive greater consistency across the Group.

The role will also provide strategic advice to senior management, oversee regulatory engagement, AML and financial crime controls, manage compliance risks and investigations, and support the development of a strong compliance culture across the business.

Key requirements:

• More than 10 years of compliance experience within financial services, insurance or another highly regulated environment
• Proven experience building, strengthening or transforming compliance frameworks and processes
• Strong knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements
• Experience across AML, regulatory engagement, compliance risk and governance
• Comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions and advising senior stakeholders management
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in spoken and written Mandarin to communicate and collaborate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
