Job Summary:
Regional Market Manager leads the team in charge of all existing Commodity hotels as
well as new hotels onboarded by the Onboarding team which will become part of the portfolio.
Main responsibility of the Commodity team is to optimize volumes taking into account technical of the hotel; aiming always for hotel self service and automation with the following levers:
- Hotel Self-Set to prepare the portfolio to the highest level of self-service and maximization
- Digital Agenda (Digital First approach interactions with the hotels)
- Hotel Consultative Selling
- Improve to increase efficiencies, number of contracts per hotel and
Responsibilities:
- Grow portfolio of hoteliers through the opportunities of Digital Agenda, Hotel Consultative Selling and the rest of regular opportunities launched by other departments.
- Direct revenue generation which will contribute to the overall team performance having a constant watch on trading, performance KPIs as well as enablers. Analyze market trends and evolution. Making sure the team has all the necessary information to perform.
- Design action plans and follow up until full alignment among the teams is achieved, ensuring progress toward targets and mitigating any potential deviations.
- Represent the voice of the commodity across different companies to improve the current status quo and develop a forward-looking strategy in collaboration with all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English Communications.
- 5+ years of experience in the travel industry
- Team management experience or a strong passion for leading teams.
- High communication and strong negotiation skills with creative problem solving within a solid business judgment taking into account other company stakeholders.
- Ability to understand and articulate the total value of a deal or negotiation.
- Ability to think and execute innovatively adapting to the new ways of working.
- Be able to multitask within strategic thinking and time management.
- High capacity to perform and drive growth, being very results orientated.
- Strong presentation skills.
