Our client is a global manufacturer of luxury sanitaryware. You are responsible to lead the strategic market entry and commercial growth across the South East Asia & North East Asia region. This pivotal role is responsible for defining the winning product portfolio, pricing and will drive the marketing execution to achieve successful market launch and sustained business growth. You act as a brand owner and first point of contact for the brand in the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the end-to-end market launch strategy across South East Asia & North East Asia region.
- Define and localize the optimal product portfolio for South East Asia & North East Asia region in close collaboration with HQ Product Management and R&D teams.
- Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies to drive market penetration and sustainable profitability.
- Own the launch roadmap, targeting a successful go-to-market by early 2027, with initial focus on South Korea and Taiwan.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess competitors, pricing, and overall product competitiveness.
- Develop and localize brand, marketing, and product communication tools, and lead training for internal teams and distributor partners.
- Act as the key liaison with HQ, managing product requests, market insights, updates on product changes, and maintaining specification tools.
- Manage the marketing budget and track product performance and distributor sell-out, analyzing results and driving corrective action plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing or trade marketing with a proven track record in market launches or major brand expansions.
- General Marketing Experience in the building materials, consumer durables, or project-based industries is highly preferred.
- Strong experience working with and managing distributor networks across different Asian markets.
- Fluent English is mandatory, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in other Asian languages is a significant plus.
