Role
Regional Sales Manager (Cyber Security)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and drive Cyber Security business across the South India region. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, a proven track record in enterprise cybersecurity sales, and experience in managing high-performing sales teams.
The role will be responsible for driving regional revenue growth, managing strategic customer relationships, leading the South sales team, and expanding the organization's footprint across enterprise, and Global Capability Center (GCC) accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the South India Cyber Security sales team to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive new business acquisition and expand existing accounts.
- Own and deliver the regional sales quota, profitability targets, and overall business growth.
- Drive hunting and farming activities across Enterprise, and GCC accounts within the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CIOs, CISOs, CXOs, IT Heads, Procurement teams, and other key decision-makers.
- Identify customer business and security challenges and position appropriate cybersecurity solutions and services.
- Work closely with Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, OEMs, and Delivery teams to develop and present winning solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, proposal submission, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Monitor team performance, review sales forecasts, and ensure a healthy pipeline across the region.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, account reviews, and coaching sessions with team members.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Stay abreast of cybersecurity market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Team Management Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Account Managers / Sales Managers across South India.
- Set sales targets, KPIs, and performance goals for team members.
- Coach, mentor, and support team members in achieving individual and regional targets.
- Drive a high-performance sales culture focused on customer success and business growth.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of sales talent within the region.
Key Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure or Cyber Security B2B sales.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in leading and managing sales teams.
- Proven experience in managing and growing business across the South India region.
- Strong understanding of Cyber Security technologies including Firewall, EDR/XDR, SIEM, IAM/PAM, Cloud Security, Network Security, and Managed Security Services.
- Demonstrated success in driving regional sales growth and managing large enterprise accounts.
- Strong network with Enterprise, and GCC customers across South India.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong customer relationship management and account development capabilities.
- Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding regional sales and revenue targets.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with Cyber Security OEMs, System Integrators, or Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).
- Exposure to handling customers within the Global Capability Center (GCC) segment will be an added advantage.
- Experience selling to Manufacturing, Healthcare, Telecom, IT/ITES sectors.
