Job Description

Position Title: Regional Sales Manager

Position Type: Full-time

Duration: Long Term

Work Location: Delhi, DL

Work Preference: Remote

Skills Required

Mandatory

  • Relevant experience in managing Government/PSU accounts for 7 to 8 years.
  • Cyber Security know-how.
  • CASB, ZTNA, SSL VPN, VDI, WVD, DaaS, and Cloud know-how.
  • Preferably with System Integrator (SI) background.
  • Prospect for new business and customer engagement, working with Companies Solutions Advisor (ASA) partners to increase Companies product knowledge and efficiencies, and whenever possible, using ISV products, projects of national importance, and alliance relationships to drive sales into end-user accounts.
  • Knowledge of IT Services (especially Virtualization Domain) and the ability to articulate the business value of those services.
  • Ability to manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification through closure.
  • Solidify existing customer accounts and elevate Companies to a more strategic position within key accounts.
  • Ability to position and sell Companies solutions as a platform, transforming IT from a cost center into a strategic business enabler.
  • Manage complex sales campaigns while coordinating with multiple partners within the same accounts.
  • Match Companies solutions to customers business needs, challenges, and technical requirements.
  • Drive Companies transaction sales business in conjunction with solutions engineers, system integrators, OEMs, and channel partners.
  • Develop and maintain a qualified sales funnel valued at multiple times the expected revenue goals.
  • Map and maintain relationships across the complete Government account ecosystem, including IT Heads, policymakers, consultants, advisors, partners, and key decision-makers/influencers.
  • Work towards the long-term goal of making accounts standardized on Companies solutions.

Good to Have

  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory and other locations, including corporate headquarters.
  • Experience working for a software company.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and processes, including customer need identification, objection handling, ROI analysis, and sales closure.
  • Experience selling to Public Sector customers.
  • Knowledge of Companies products.
  • Knowledge of complementary hardware and software solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work towards the long-term goal of making customer accounts standardized on Companies solutions.
  • Manage Government/PSU accounts across North or South India.
  • Candidate should be a native of Delhi/NCR or Hyderabad and be available for field meetings as required.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from seeding and opportunity creation to closure, including commercials, negotiations, and licensing.
  • Handle strategic account management activities.
  • Develop in-depth sales knowledge of Companies solutions and products.
  • Establish relationships with global, national, and local management consulting firms.
  • Demonstrate strong sales presentation skills.
  • Lead and collaborate with pre-sales teams to define technical solutions, assist with Statements of Work (SOW), and deliver proposals.
  • Travel as required for business meetings and customer engagements.
