Job Description

Role Objective

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for executing the regional strategy for Direct Accounts, Wholesalers, and Distributor Operations to achieve sales volume and value targets, strengthen merchandising standards, expand distribution, and drive ABF’s market share growth. The role also focuses on enhancing market penetration and ensuring efficient distributor processes to support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution: Deliver sales targets within the assigned region.
  • Retail Standards: Ensure product visibility, optimal distribution, and effective shelving in retail outlets.
  • Target & Budget Management: Manage sales budgets effectively to meet both volume and value goals.
  • Accounts Receivable: Monitor and ensure timely collections.
  • Team Leadership: Train, coach, and evaluate the performance of direct reports in line with ABF’s values.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with internal departments to ensure alignment.
  • Key Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, wholesalers, and distributors to support growth and operational efficiency.
  • Sales Process Training: Guide team members in following the Sales Operations Manual.
  • Performance Oversight: Monitor and assess Area Sales Managers&apos performance regularly.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure team adherence to ABF’s sales policies and guidelines.
  • Order Management: Oversee timely and accurate processing of purchase orders.
  • Sales Meetings: Organize and lead monthly regional sales meetings.
  • Product Launches: Drive successful sales execution for new product introductions.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor&aposs or Master’s degree in any field.

Experience

  • 5–8 years in FMCG sales, with 2–5 years in a regional management role.
