Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Prepare, review, and submit daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports in accordance with requirements from BOT, DPA, RD, NCB, and other agencies.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the accuracy and completeness of transaction and balance information, with robust cross-checking and reconciliation processes prior to submission.
  • Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary contact person for all regulatory reporting matters, responding promptly to queries and clarifications from regulators.
  • Team Leadership: Manage the regulatory reporting teams daily operations, ensure workload efficiency, and develop talent through coaching and oversight.
  • Monitoring & Change Management: Track new regulatory reporting requirements and ensure banks reporting coverage remains complete, especially when new products are launched.
  • Process & Automation Improvement: Enhance the automation level of regulatory reporting through systems, tools, and controls to increase accuracy, efficiency, and data governance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, risk, compliance, product, and technology teams to ensure timely provision of information and alignment on reporting requirements.
  • Other Duties: Support related activities such as calculation and submission of deposit protection insurance premium reserves (DPA reserves) and contribute to regulatory-related projects or ad-hoc requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 810+ years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services industry (experience with BOT/DPA regulations strongly preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger, and balance sheet structures.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with financial reporting tools or data processing systems.
  • Good command of both Thai and English.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines under pressure, with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience in driving automation or process efficiency initiatives in reporting functions is an advantage.
