We are seeking an experienced Reinsurance Broker to join our Lockton Wattana Reinsurance Team.
The successful candidate will manage an established portfolio of treaty reinsurance both excess of loss and proportional serving Thai cedants. The candidate will also play a key role in developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and place a portfolio of reinsurance business, including XL and proportional treaty.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters, ensuring clear communication and excellent service delivery.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and market insights.
- Discuss client reinsurance requirements directly, offering creative solutions and suitable market options.
- Prepare and present comprehensive renewal and new business submissions, including placing slips where required.
Key Requirements:
- Approximately 10 years of relevant reinsurance background.
- Proven experience in reinsurance broking or a related client-facing reinsurance role, ideally within Thai Market.
- Strong understanding of treaty placements.
- Excellent working knowledge with international reinsurance markets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills able to build trust with clients, colleagues, and market partners.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability with sound attention to detail.
- Preferably professional qualified or actively working towards qualification (CII or ANZIIF).
