Reliability Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the manufacturing reliability engineering team.
• Develop reliability strategies for NPI and mass production products.
• Own Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT) and product qualification activities.
• Lead failure analysis, root cause investigations, and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Analyze reliability data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global engineering teams.
• Establish reliability processes, laboratories, and engineering best practices.
• Recruit, coach, and develop reliability engineers as the team expands.

Requirement

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 8+ years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, qualification testing, failure analysis, and statistical analysis
• Experience with DOE, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement methodologies
• Background in semiconductor, electronics, photonics, optical communication, automotive, or other high-volume manufacturing industries
• Experience leading manufacturing or product reliability programs
• Knowledge of optical communication, photonics, semiconductor packaging, or optoelectronics
• Proficiency with reliability analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, Python, R, or Weibull++
• Experience working with global engineering teams and developing reliability laboratories
