Relief Project Manager (A&A) | 1-Month Contract | Immediate Start
We're looking for an experienced Relief Project Manager to provide short-term cover for a one-month assignment supporting ongoing Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects within a prestigious integrated resort in Singapore.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&E or Building Services Project Manager who can quickly step into an active project environment, manage stakeholders, and ensure smooth project delivery during the incumbent's absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Take over ongoing A&A projects with a structured handover from the incumbent Project Manager.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables and day-to-day site activities.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure works progress according to schedule.
- Chair project meetings and provide regular project status updates.
- Review technical submissions, shop drawings and method statements where required.
- Monitor project risks, resolve issues and drive timely completion of action items.
- Ensure works comply with quality, safety and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate testing, inspections, commissioning and project handover activities where applicable.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting throughout the engagement.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience managing M&E, Building Services or A&A projects.
- Experience managing projects within commercial buildings, hospitality, airports, healthcare or other live operational environments.
- Strong contractor, consultant and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, project planning and site coordination.
- Familiarity with technical drawings, project documentation and engineering submissions.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to start immediately or at short notice.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in integrated resorts, hotels or large commercial developments.
- Knowledge of M&E systems, building services and live operational facilities.
- Experience with project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is advantageous.
