This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Specialist - REMOTE. This role is crucial in assisting the corporate BIM team and operational staff across various locations in enhancing workflow processes. As a forward-thinker and problem-solver, you will help in meeting critical deadlines and maintaining innovation within the construction industry. Your expertise will not only streamline technical support but also foster collaboration among teams, ultimately driving virtual construction growth. This position requires continuous learning and adaptability to evolving technologies in the electrical construction sector.

Accountabilities

  • Foster a corporate culture that embodies core values such as safety, honesty, respect, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Support technical analysis and opportunities for prefabrication across operating companies.
  • Provide training and technical support to electrical contractors via both live and virtual sessions.
  • Assist in the development of an electrical database for operational companies.
  • Encourage team development and best practice sharing across branch locations.
  • Contribute to in-house software creation, testing, and training tailored for electrical teams.
  • Participate in the development and training of proprietary cloud software and services.
  • Collaborate with local BIM leaders to meet project goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in the Electrical construction industry.
  • Over 5 years of experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes.
  • Experience in electrical design, modeling, detailing, and prefabrication.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk products (Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, especially Power BI.
  • Experience building and maintaining Revit Families.
  • Knowledge of Dynamo programming in Revit is a plus.
  • Experience with C# coding or software plug-ins is a plus.
