The Opportunity

We're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical thinker to build and own our reporting infrastructure from the ground up. You'll work directly with the CEO and collaborate across Account Management, Publisher Management, and Finance teams to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive our mobile app campaigns.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with clear growth potentialas our first analytics hire, you'll have the opportunity to grow into a Data Team Lead and eventually build out an entire analytics department as we scale.

Core Responsibilities:

Campaign & Performance Reporting

  • Create and deliver daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for mobile app campaigns
  • Analyze campaign metrics (CPI, CPR, CPA, ROAS, retention, LTV) and provide optimization recommendations
  • Track publisher performance across multiple channels and identify top performers
  • Build custom dashboards and automated reporting systems from scratch

Data Integration & Analysis

  • Extract and consolidate raw data from multiple sources: Swaam, AppsFlyer, Singular, Branch, Kochava, and client CRMs
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting systems
  • Develop Excel-based reporting templates and automation workflows
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within campaign data

Fraud Detection & Risk Management

  • Conduct fraud analysis reports at least 2x per week to protect campaign integrity
  • Monitor for suspicious activity patterns and flag high-risk publishers
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to implement fraud prevention strategies

Financial & Strategic Reporting

  • Prepare financial reports tracking campaign spend, revenue, and profitability
  • Support quarterly business reviews with comprehensive performance summaries
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Account Managers to optimize client campaigns
  • Work with Publisher Managers to evaluate and improve publisher quality
  • Support Finance team with budget tracking and reconciliation

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
  • Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, data visualization, macros
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience extracting, cleaning, and consolidating data from multiple sources
  • Ability to build reporting systems and dashboards from scratch
  • Excellent communication skills to translate data into actionable insights
  • Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones and departments

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in mobile app marketing, user acquisition, or digital advertising
  • Familiarity with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) like AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular, Branch, or Kochava
  • Understanding of app metrics: installs, retention rates, LTV, ARPU, conversion funnels
  • Experience with fraud detection in digital marketing or app campaigns
  • Background in finance, gaming, entertainment, or e-commerce industries
  • Knowledge of SQL, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI (bonus, not required)
