Source and identify OEM manufacturing partners for new products as assigned.
Research, develop, and create new products according to assigned projects.
Plan and manage product research and development activities to ensure projects are completed within the assigned timeline.
Establish and maintain internal documentation systems within the R&D team to ensure operational efficiency and confidentiality.
Develop collaboration workflows with related departments to successfully commercialize developed products within limited resources.
Plan and improve store operation processes to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Develop cost reduction plans related to store operations and present improvement strategies to the Operations team and management.
Research and improve existing products to optimize costs or enhance taste and quality while maintaining the same cost structure.
Calculate product costs and control beverage costs to ensure they remain within appropriate targets, including OEM product costs.
Manage and control the R&D budget, ensuring development and research activities are completed within budget and timeline constraints.
Lead, evaluate, and develop team members to maximize performance, including conducting daily morning briefings to ensure smooth team operations.
Manage resources including equipment, raw materials, packaging samples, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports to summarize performance and progress for management review.
Study and analyze competitors products, including their strengths, weaknesses, and key selling points, and apply insights to support the company's product development.
Responsible for managing and developing dessert product categories.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Specification
Experience in product research and development and food science
Ability to manage projects within timelines
Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Experience with cost reduction planning and ability to calculate and control product costs
minimum 5 years of experience in Research & Development (R&D) within the food industry. Candidates with experience in dairy products, tea, or coffee products will be given special consideration or dessert product categories.
