Research and Development Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop new products.
• Study market trends, raw materials, packaging, and consumer behavior.
• Manage the R&D team by assigning tasks, monitoring results, and developing team potential.
• Coordinate with the marketing, sales, and production departments to ensure that formulas can be commercially produced.
• Oversee product testing and analyze results.
• Manage standard documentation related to formulas and quality standards, such as FDA, GMP, and HACCP.
• Manage the research and development budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Research and Development (R&D) in beverages, bakery, or food products.
• Knowledge of recipe formulation, food science, and product development.
• Understanding of budget control and R&D team management.
• Knowledge of healthy, low-sugar, or plant-based bakery products will be considered an advantage.
