Responsible for technical support to research projects, coordination of grants, and project management of team activities.
Responsibilities
Research studies (50%)
- Provide technical support for research studies. Responsibilities may include conducting literature review, primary data collection (e.g. interviews, costing studies), drafting sections of grant proposals, supporting model development, data analysis, and drafting research reports and presentations.
- Coordinate data collection activities, which may include scheduling interviews and issuing official letters.
- Liaise with researchers for submission of ethical clearance for research studies.
- Develop and oversee communication plan for research projects, liaising with the communications team and researchers.
Grant management (20%)
- Coordinate research proposal development (including budget), under the supervision of researchers.
- Coordinate timely grant reporting, in adherence with funding agency requirements.
- Liaise with operations management and researchers to draft terms of reference for contractors, in adherence with HITAP procedures.
Project management (20%)
- Synthesise progress of research studies across the unit, proactively flagging issues with timelines, budget, or adherence to ethical clearance.
- Maintain tracker of project activities, timelines, and budget.
Other (10%)
- Maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders (in Thailand and internationally).
- Propose improvements to unit operations, including project management, staff development, and recruitment processes.
- Represent the unit in HITAP-wide activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent work experience
- Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
- Fluent in Thai (written and spoken)
- Minimum English: C1 CEFR / 7.0 IELTS / 95 TOEFL (written and spoken)
- Experience in research, healthcare, and/or public policy
