Job Description

Job Summary

Define operational directions and be responsible for researching, studying, exploring, and developing new products, as well as improving existing products. Also, oversee the development and optimization of production processes and procedures to support quality enhancement, cost reduction, and productivity improvementensuring the company remains competitive in the market.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Set goals, work standards, and develop integrated action plans for product and business development in alignment with the company's strategic direction.
  • Supervise research, studies, and experiments involving raw materials and product development to improve existing products and create new ones. Oversee production processes, formulations, raw material properties, and product features to better respond to customer and market demands.
  • Monitor and control pilot runs of new products in actual production lines, ensuring product quality, formulation accuracy, and suitability for future production scale-up.
  • Oversee documentation related to research and product development to support internal R&D operations and assist other departments in obtaining necessary product certifications and regulatory approvals (e.g., GMP, HACCP, ISO, FSSC 22000, or other certified standards).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Supervise, monitor, and evaluate team performance consistently to ensure achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
  • Support professional growth by facilitating knowledge and skill development essential for job performance and long-term career progression.
  • Cooperate and support various organizational activities as assigned.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science & Technology, Product Development, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of research and development experience.
  • Strong knowledge in management and research & development of Food & Beverage products.
  • Excellent in strategic planning, product development, and sensory quality evaluation.
