About the job

The primary responsibility is to manage accounts on a day to day basis and effectively contribute to the efficiency of the business unit. A Research Manager for Insights contributes to the BU's business success by managing a high performing team to deliver great work. They are also responsible for creating meaningful impact on our client's businesses and act as a key interface between the organisation and our clients. The role includes client engagement, consultancy, study design and analysis, driving preparation and delivery of presentations and reports as well as internal responsibilities such as people management and the implementation of broader business initiatives to improve business performance.

Job Goals

  • Manage and develop strong client relationships and have a good understanding of clients business and market, utilizing your research expertise and proprietary Kantar Insights solutions.
  • You will be involved in client engagement, consultancy, study design and analysis, driving preparation and delivery of presentations and reports as well as broader business responsibilities including seeking new business, people management and the implementation of broader business initiatives to improve business performance.
  • Direct the team's efforts in the most effective use of analytic processes and research methodologies to address clients business issues.
  • Provide constant delivery of strong consumer insights to clients and ensure client deliverables meet expectations and needs.
  • Conducts research in compliance with the ISO 20252 standard, as represented in the Company's Quality Manual and supporting procedures

Ideal Skills and Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in Marketing with a minimum of 5-7 years progressive experience in managing quantitative research studies, and interfacing with clients to proactively deliver on agreed KPIs.
  • Confident in analysis and presentation skills with an ability to advise clients on how to solve problems.
  • Proven experience in market research or Consumer Insights within agency or end-user
  • Experience with U&A solutions, concept testing, product testing, ad testing,brand health tracking and other market research techniques highly preferred
  • Ability to develop the proposal, strong analytical skills, report writing skills and storytelling analysis with the ability to present results to client
  • Build new clients and nurture existing relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Experienced in developing team members through coaching and performance management.
  • Able to manage projects and the team to contribute towards achievement of financial targets, through developing client relationships, managing key supplier relationships, as well as instilling a learning culture among the team.
  • Conducts research in compliance with the ISO 20252 standard, as represented in the Company's Quality Manual and supporting procedures
