The Highlands at Pittsford- Laurelwood & Laurel Way Assisted Living community is seeking friendly, caring, and professional individuals that have a passion for caring for others. Our Laurelwood care team is responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents.
Essential Functions
- Provides direct care to our residents
- Provide direction, and support to resident care staff, handle resident emergencies and communicate appropriately with health care providers and families.
- Listen and respond to residents concerns and report issues to the proper discipline.
- Assists residents with their personal care, including giving gentle reminders, and assistance with grooming.
- Assists in administering and passing medication to residents, based on their personal care plan.
- Assists in with washing, and folding of resident's laundry, as assigned.
- Participates in daily, monthly, and annual light housekeeping duties.
- Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Varied day & evening shifts available: 7am-3pm and 3 pm-11 pm. Including every other weekend and Holiday rotations.
*Shift Differential offered*
Pay Range- NE, $17.75/hr.- $23.20/hr.
