About the opportunity
Our client is a leading consumer products company with a strong retail presence across Thailand. They are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to take full ownership of national retail operations — overseeing sales performance, team development, and brand execution across an extensive network of points of sale.
This is a high-impact role reporting directly to senior commercial leadership, suited for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, consumer-driven environment and has a proven track record of scaling retail operations at the national level.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage retail operations across all channels and locations nationwide
- Set regional and national sales targets; monitor performance and drive consistent achievement of KPIs
- Build, develop, and retain a high-performing team of store managers and frontline staff
- Conduct regular field visits to assess operational standards, customer experience, and brand compliance
- Own the retail P&L including staffing costs, operational budgets, and promotional investment
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies in alignment with brand and commercial objectives
- Partner with marketing on in-store activations, new product launches, and seasonal campaigns
- Manage key relationships with trade partners, channel stakeholders, and retail account teams
- Analyse performance data across channels and translate insights into operational improvements
- Ensure consistent execution of SOPs, visual merchandising standards, and brand guidelines nationwide
Candidate profile
- 5+ years of retail management experience
- Strong background in managing multi-location retail operations within a consumer product environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams and deliver results through others
- Commercial acumen with hands-on experience managing P&L and retail budgets
- Data-driven mindset — comfortable with sales analytics, sellout reports, and conversion metrics
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels
- Experience working with structured retail channels such as standalone stores, shop-in-shop, or modern trade
- Flexibility to travel domestically on a regular basis
- Fluency in Thai; working proficiency in English is an advantage
