RMJ Migration Architect (Redwood RunMyJob)
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (BKK Time)
Flexibility required to extend beyond business hours during cutover/go-live and to collaborate with the India team.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Redwood RunMyJob (RMJ) Specialist with over 10 years of hands-on experience in job scheduling and workload automation. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in RMJ architecture, migration projects, and SAP integration, and will play a critical role in designing, optimizing, and managing enterprise scheduling solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage process definitions in Redwood RunMyJob to meet business and operational requirements.
- Engage with customers and business stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Lead and support RMJ migration projects, with strong knowledge of RMJ architecture and landscape.
- Perform requirements analysis, solution design, and implementation aligned with customer needs.
- Integrate SAP systems with Redwood to enable efficient, automated workflows.
- Configure and optimize process servers, queues, and scheduling components for performance and scalability.
- Create and maintain schedules, calendars, and time-based triggers to ensure seamless job execution.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and errors; proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot job failures and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Stay updated on Redwood RunMyJob features and recommend continuous improvements.
- Train and mentor junior team members on RMJ platform functionalities.
- Perform performance tuning, particularly for long-running jobs.
Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience in job scheduling and workload automation.
- Strong expertise in Redwood RunMyJob (RMJ), including architecture and migrations.
- Proficiency in Java and Redwood Expression Language (REL).
- Experience developing and optimizing process definitions using Java and REL.
- Ability to implement dynamic logic using Redwood Expression Language for efficient job configurations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP system integration.
- Strong understanding of other workload automation tools, with the ability to map/convert requirements into RMJ.
- Experience creating reusable scripts and templates for automation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
