Responsibilities:
1. Electrical & Process Safety Management
- Lead and oversee the plant's Electrical and Mechanical Safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve electrical safety standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure effective management of LOTO, Arc Flash, Electrical Shock Protection, and hazardous energy control programs.
- Promote Safety by Design principles in engineering and operational projects.
2. Risk Management & Incident Prevention
- Lead risk assessments, safety audits, and compliance evaluations across the organization.
- Drive incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop strategies to reduce operational risks and improve overall safety performance.
3. Machine Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Oversee machine safety programs and ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and international standards.
- Ensure the effectiveness of machine safeguarding systems, including interlocks, emergency stops, and safety controls.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external stakeholders regarding safety requirements.
4. Leadership & Safety Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop the Safety team to achieve departmental objectives and business goals.
- Establish safety KPIs and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and reinforce the organization's Zero Harm commitment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in safety management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or team management role.
- Professional Engineering License (PE License) is preferred.
- TOEIC score of at least 550, with good command of English communication skills.
