This role supports the management of
Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) for the One Bangkok project. The core focus is
Interface Management, specifically ensuring safety at the complex boundaries between
ongoing major construction, office fit-out activities, and live Retail/Building operations. The position is critical in maintaining a
Proactive Approach to control and prevent risksespecially those related to fire safety, fit-out hazards, and accidentsthat could directly impact
customers, tenants, and the organization's international reputation. Furthermore, the role ensures the timely, safety-compliant opening and operation of all retail stores and project components.
- Interface and Shared Risk Management
- Pollution Control and Prevention: Control and prevent pollution (e.g., dust, noise, and the falling of construction debris) to ensure zero impact on public access areas or customer traffic flow.
- System Interface Risk Mitigation: Manage and mitigate safety risks within interface zones between construction activities and live building systems, ensuring the project's normal business operations remain uninterrupted.
- Proactive Fit-out and Incident Prevention Control
- High-Risk Activity Control: Rigorously review and approve Method Statements submitted by fit-out contractorsespecially for High-Risk Activities such as welding, cutting, grinding, and electrical workbefore granting site access for execution.
- Equipment Deep Audit and Catastrophic Risk Prevention: Conduct strict and regular deep audits of all equipment and tools utilized on site to prevent fire and the occurrence of catastrophic risks (severe accidents).
- Strategic Support and Solution Development
- Key Liaison and Cross-Functional Consultation: Act as a facilitator and Key Liaison among the Construction Department, Building Management Department, and Retail Tenant Management to collaboratively develop and implement practical safety solutions.
- Strategic Reporting and Decision Support: Prepare comprehensive risk assessment reports and strategic recommendations for presentation to executive management, facilitating accurate and well-informed decision-making.
- Conflict Resolution and Brand Image Protection (Brand Guardian)
- Conflict Context: Pressing project deadlines and site limitations frequently trigger conflicts between different contractors or between contractors and Building Management, particularly regarding safety compliance. Such conflicts inevitably cause project delays and necessitate escalation to executive management.
- Brand Guardian and Conflict Resolution: Serve as the Brand Guardian by proactively intervening to resolve conflicts related to safety, ensuring project continuity, minimizing delays, and protecting the corporate brand image from negative safety incidents.
