RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide and coordinate Health and Safety work processes, including avior Based Safety programs, for the site that drives organize performance.
- Provide and coordinating employees and contractor working on the site area is in compliance with policy and safety procedures.
- Provide and coordinating the Health and Safety aspects of Operating Discipline are adequate and applied to achieve performance goals. In most cases, would perform the role of Section owner for the Health and Safety sections of Operating Discipline.
- Provide and coordinating to control the work permit to ensure that the work covered by a work permit to be executed in a safe and controlled manner.
- Provide support Health and Safety Training Plan.
- Contractor training and provide support for the contractor management system.
- Provide support for document preparation of Safety Procedure, Thai Law, etc.
- Follow up and monitor an incident report to improve safety performance as appropriate.
- Provide support to inspect and implement an appropriate level of safety equipment and function, fire detection system, fire fighting system, personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency procedures, first-aid facilities, safety/warning signs associated with the operation, maintenance, and construction activity related Thai Law.
- Provide and coordinates the Safety & Health monitoring, data collection, analyzing, and reporting for the site.
- Provide and coordinates audits in the Safety & Health related areas and related reviews and projects.
- Coordinates and support with Environmental engineer to liaise with adjacent communities for plant activities that may impact to community environmental, occupational health and safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Occupational Health and Safety with Professional Safety License with the Department of Labor.
- 5-8 years experience in a Health and Safety related job function and prefer 3 years experience in a chemical, bio-plastic or oil & gas manufacturing facility.
- Strong knowledge of safety laws and regulations.
- Experience in contractor management, site emergency response, equipment safety, LOTO, work permits, confined space, radiation, chemical management, etc.
- Good command both written and spoken English and Thai.
- Knowledge of all applicable government regulations for the Safety & Health area, behavior based safety processes.
- Good in computer skills such as Microsoft Word processor, Excel spreadsheet, and databases.
- Knowledge of plant and construction operations, handling chemical and hydrocarbon hazard, including process safety management, training methods, operating discipline, contractor management system.
- Ability to apply facilitation skills/tools to situations.
- Trained and proven capability to lead and facilitate Root Cause Investigations (or equivalent)
