We are looking for a Sales Analyst Manager to lead the Sales Analytics function and turn data into actionable business insights. This role will partner closely with Sales Leaders, Sales Operations, Trade Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance, and other commercial teams to drive sales performance, identify growth opportunities, optimize sales investments, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance & Business Analysis
- Lead analysis of sales performance against targets, budgets, forecasts, and previous periods.
- Analyze performance by salesperson, team, customer, product, channel, and territory.
- Identify sales gaps, growth opportunities, and key business drivers.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to Sales Management.
- Partner with commercial teams to understand business challenges and translate data into business solutions.
2. Sales Target, Budget & Spending Management
- Support Sales Leadership in setting sales targets and performance goals.
- Identify risks and opportunities that may impact target achievement.
- Lead planning, monitoring, and control of Sales-related budgets and spending.
- Monitor spending across trade promotions, customer activities, sales incentives, events, campaigns, entertainment, and other Sales-related expenses.
- Track actual spending against budget and forecast, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Establish effective spending controls and monitoring processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and maximize the return on Sales investments.
- Work closely with Finance, Sales Managers, and Sales Operations to ensure accurate tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of Sales expenses.
3. Sales Pipeline & Opportunity Management
- Monitor sales pipeline, opportunity value, pipeline coverage, conversion rates, and win/loss performance.
- Identify key opportunities, stalled deals, and potential risks.
- Provide insights to help Sales Leaders prioritize opportunities and allocate resources effectively.
- Analyze sales funnel performance and recommend actions to improve conversion and sales effectiveness.
4. Sales Reporting, Dashboard & Data Systems
- Own and develop sales performance reports, dashboards, sales planning tools, and management reports.
- Ensure sales data is accurate, timely, and aligned with business requirements.
- Develop dashboards and visualization tools that enable Sales Leaders to monitor performance and make timely decisions.
- Improve and automate reporting processes to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
- Partner with IT to develop, enhance, and maintain Sales systems and data solutions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Business Analytics, Sales Operations, or a related field.
- Experience in FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or a commercial environment is preferred.
- Experience in managing, monitoring, and optimizing Sales-related budgets and spending is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, sales KPIs, pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue performance.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/visualization tools.
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems, such as Salesforce, SAP, or similar platforms, is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a strong commercial mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
