To lead and drive strategic growth of food phosphate productsincluding specialty and blendsacross a diverse set of application segments such as seafood, meat, bakery, potato, dairy, non-dairy creamer, fortification, and nutraceuticals within the region. This role will lead business development efforts, manage key customer and partner relationships, and ensure alignment with both commercial and regulatory expectations within the region.
Principal Accountabilities
Sales Growth & Market Expansion
- Drive sustainable sales growth for food phosphate products (specialty and blends) across all target segments.
- Identify untapped markets and segments to expand the company's footprint within the region.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to accelerate market penetration.
Channel Development & Partner Management
- Evaluate, select, and develop channel partners/distributors tailored to each country and segment.
- Support and guide partners with the necessary training, product knowledge, and marketing tools to drive their performance.
- Implement KPIs and monitor channel partner performance for continuous improvement.
Key Account Management
- Establish and maintain direct relationships with key customers in core segments:
- Understand customer needs and deliver customized solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Market Intelligence & Lead Generation
- Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and unmet needs.
- Generate and qualify leads across all target application areas, ensuring a healthy and active sales pipeline.
- Map the competitive landscape and provide strategic insights for positioning and differentiation.
Regulatory Compliance & Technical Understanding
- Stay up to date with legal, food safety, and regulatory requirements in each country within the region.
- Work cross-functionally with R&D and regulatory teams to ensure product compliance and support customer audits when required.
- Ensure technical suitability of phosphate solutions in alignment with local and international food laws
Financial & Strategic Focus
- Deliver on both top-line (revenue) and bottom-line (profitability) targets.
- Support pricing, margin management, and cost-efficiency initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.
- Ensure adherence to group values and implementation of all corporate initiative like WCM
- Develop and implement systems to ensure alignment and compliance with Group Values, embedding them into the organizational culture and daily operations.
Monitor and control logistics
- Optimize logistics by identifying and utilizing the most efficient transportation routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Maximize cargo space utilization through effective planning and consolidation strategies to reduce freight costs.
- Calculate and compare prices based on different Incoterms to determine the most economical and efficient delivery options, ensuring products reach customers quickly and within budget.
