Job Description

Main Purpose:

At Nuovo Plus, the flagship Energy Solution & System Integrator under PTT Group, shaping the clean energy future with comprehensive solutions with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) at the core, spanning future distributed energy resource (DER) assets; Solar PV, advanced Energy Management Systems (EMS), smart grid integration, and power infrastructure.

You will be a key driver of our growth in the rapidly expanding energy storage market. Principal Accountabilities:

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, and utility-scale projects.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to drive Nuovo Plus's growth in the energy solution ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on BESS, Solar PV.
  • Represent Nuovo Plus in industry forums, exhibitions, and stakeholder engagements to strengthen market presence.
  • Seek, screen, build and nurture long-term relationships with strategic customers, EPCs, consultants, and renewable energy developers.

Sales Engineering & Solution Architecture

  • Serve as a System Integrator (SI): design and propose integrated solutions combining BESS, PCS, ATS/STS, inverters, solar PV, EMS, and protection devices.
  • Lead technical-commercial discussions, translating customer requirements into optimized solutions.
  • Conduct site surveys, load analysis, and feasibility/ROI/payback studies to demonstrate value and competitiveness.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, bid documents, and compliance reports in line with customer and regulatory requirements.

Strategic Growth & Partnerships

  • Collaborate with utilities (PEA, MEA, EGAT), EPC contractors, and key stakeholders to co-develop project opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes to inform Nuovo Plus's strategic positioning.
  • Identify and recommend new solution areas (e.g., microgrids, hybrid systems, renewable integration) to expand Nuovo Plus's portfolio.

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: lead qualification, proposal preparation, contract/TOR negotiation, and project handover.
  • Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline forecasts, and activity reports to support management decisions.
  • Utilize data-driven and AI-supported tools to improve proposal quality, market analysis, and overall sales efficiency.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering seamless engagement from pre-sales through aftersales.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (Power), Energy Technology, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
  • Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in electrical / renewable energy projects.
  • A minimum of 3-7 years experience in BESS/Solar PV projects is a plus.
  • Experience in energy software (e.g., PVSyst, Holmer, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience in intermediate/ advanced Microsoft Excel formulations for project feasibility is a plus.
  • Experience working collaboratively with EPC companies, utility providers (e.g., PEA, MEA, EGAT), and renewable energy developers in Thailand is a plus.
  • Strong commercial acumen coupled with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for driving business success in the clean energy sector.
  • Exceptional communication presentation story telling, interpersonal, and business negotiation skills, with fluency in both Thai and English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex deals involving multiple stakeholders and extended decision-making processes, showcasing strong project management and organizational skills.
  • A proactive self-starter with a strong growth mindset, capable of working autonomously and effectively within cross-functional teams, demonstrating initiative and a collaborative spirit.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance work processes and analysis.
  • TOEIC score of 700 or above
  • Able to work at Shinawatra Tower 3, Chatuchack, Bangkok.
