(Application Sales Engineer)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying potential customers and businesses that could benefit from SICK Sensor Intelligence&aposs sensor solutions. Support initial contact and relationship-building efforts.
- Possess, understand and present SICK&aposs value proposition, focusing on the technical benefits and applications of our products.
- Assist in conducting product demonstrations to showcase their advantages.
- Provide support in managing assigned accounts, both directly and through channel partners. Help identify customer needs and contribute to developing tailored solutions.
- Assist in analyzing competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and strategies for gaining market share. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor products.
- Support the development and execution of sales strategies focused on technical applications of SICK&aposs products. Follow up on opportunities and contribute to achieving sales growth objectives.
- Actively maintain and update the sales funnel, forecasts, and account status/activity. Utilize CRM systems to keep detailed account information for effective management and collaboration.
- Work with various departments to review and analyze competition, product needs, and market demands. Collaborate with technical teams to increase the probability of winning deals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and activities. Provide technical insights to enhance marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Support the resolution of issues related to assigned accounts. Escalate complex problems as needed to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to company policies on sales processes and utilize sales tools effectively. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain a strong technical and application knowledge of SICK&aposs sensor products relevant to the assigned industry. Build trust and confidence within the customer base through technical proficiency.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Industry Management team to align strategies and initiatives for assigned industries and accounts. Contribute to the overall strategic goals of the company.
Requirements:
- At least a Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Control, Instrument Engineering, or related fields.
- Some relevant experience within a technical sales environment, preferably in Industrial Automation, Intralogistics, Electronics, or related industries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in both verbal and written English, with strong business communication abilities.
- Customer-centric and results-oriented approach. Ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
- Disciplined, hardworking, and able to perform under pressure. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
