experiences, and experiential environments that help brands stand out at trade shows and exhibitions.

We're looking for a disciplined, coachable, and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR)

to join our growing team. If you enjoy speaking with senior business leaders, thrive in outbound sales,

About the Role

Your primary responsibility is to identify the right decision-makers, qualify opportunities through first

level conversations, and book qualified discovery meetings for First Rain's senior leadership team.

This is not a closing role. You will not be responsible for pricing, proposals, negotiations, project

consulting, or closing deals. Your success will be measured by your ability to generate high-quality

discovery opportunities through disciplined outbound prospecting and follow-up.

You'll work with leads generated from multiple sources, including exhibition databases, website

enquiries, LinkedIn, referrals, WhatsApp enquiries, and other company-provided lead sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Research prospects, their companies, industries, and relevant exhibitions before initiating

outreach.

• Conduct outbound calls using company-provided lead lists.

• Engage professionally with CXOs, founders, business owners, marketing heads, procurement

teams, and other key decision-makers.

• Understand prospect requirements through structured first-level qualification conversations.

• Identify the right stakeholder within target organizations.

• Generate interest and schedule qualified discovery meetings for the senior sales team.

• Follow up consistently through calls, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.

• Share relevant company collateral with prospects when appropriate.

• Update the CRM after every interaction and maintain accurate follow-up records.

• Complete all scheduled callbacks and follow-up activities on time.

• Work towards approximately 100 outbound calls per day as you progress through onboarding

and ramp-up while maintaining conversation quality.

What We're Looking For

• Graduate in any discipline (Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred).

• 1–3 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Inside Sales, Appointment

Setting, Lead Generation, or Telecalling.

• Candidates from Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Services, International BPO, IT

Services, SaaS, Events, Exhibitions, or B2B Sales environments are encouraged to apply.

• Experience engaging with CXOs, founders, business owners, HNIs, or senior decision-makers is

highly desirable.

• Previous outbound calling experience is strongly preferred.

Skills & Qualities

• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

• Confidence speaking with senior corporate decision-makers over the phone.

• Strong research skills using LinkedIn, Google, and other online tools.

• Comfortable handling objections, gatekeepers, and rejection professionally.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, and AI productivity tools.

• Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a remote

environment.

• Strong ownership mindset with excellent follow-up discipline.

• Coachable, open to feedback, and committed to continuous improvement.
