Job Description

Reporting to: General Manager Thailand

AB Food & Beverages (Thailand) is looking for a dynamic and strategic Sales Director to lead our sales organization and distribution partners in delivering sustainable growth across all channels.

This role is critical in shaping and executing the Sales and Route-to-Market (RTM) strategy in line with our corporate objectives, ensuring strong execution, effective trade spending, and best-in-class sales practices in the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Channel Strategy

  • Develop and lead Sales and RTM strategies across Modern Trade, General Trade, and E Commerce.
  • Work closely with distribution partners to align annual sales and trade marketing plans
  • Establish KPI frameworks and sales performance matrices aligned with FMCG best practices

Execution Excellence

  • Integrate sales strategies with Trade Marketing, Consumer Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution
  • Drive distribution, merchandising, category management, and point-of-sale excellence
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and strong service levels with logistics partners

Pricing, Trade Investment & Budget Control

  • Lead pricing and promotional strategies across channels
  • Optimize trade spending to maximize ROI and customer profitability
  • Collaborate with Finance and Marketing on forecasting and financial governance

Sales Leadership & Team Effectiveness

  • Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing sales organization
  • Strengthen sales capabilities through training, KPI management, and performance coaching
  • Act as a role model in leadership, integrity, and customer focus

Customer & Competitive Excellence

  • Ensure best-in-class customer service standards and EDI/ECR compliance
  • Monitor market competition and benchmark sales practices
  • Contribute as a key member of the Executive Committee, working cross-functionally to drive overall business success

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in FMCG sales leadership and multi-channel RTM strategy
  • Proven track record in distributor management and trade investment optimization
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Passion for building teams and driving execution excellence
