Role Summary
The Sales Director is accountable for driving aggressive revenue growth and market share expansion across Thailand and neighboring countries in both wholesale and enterprise segments. This role will lead a performance-driven sales organization, execute bold go-to-market strategies, and deliver measurable commercial results in a competitive B2B telecommunications landscape.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on commercial leader with a strong hunter mindset, capable of managing complex sales cycles, scaling high-performing teams, and delivering sustained growth within a regional, integrated business structure.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Growth Strategy & Revenue Ownership
- Own full P&L accountability for wholesale and enterprise sales performance in Thailand.
- Develop and execute high-impact sales and market-entry strategies to accelerate revenue growth and expand market share.
- Identify, prioritise, and penetrate high-value customer segments, strategic accounts, and growth industries.
- Drive pipeline velocity, deal size expansion, and conversion rates across all sales channels.
2.Sales Leadership & Execution
- Lead, build, and scale a high-performance sales organisation with clear accountability and a results-oriented culture.
- Set ambitious sales targets, KPIs, and stretch goals, holding the team accountable for outcomes.
- Personally lead and close large, complex, and strategic deals, including enterprise and wholesale contracts.
- Implement disciplined sales cadence, performance reviews, and rigorous pipeline management.
3.Wholesale & Enterprise Market Expansion
- Design and execute aggressive wholesale and enterprise sales strategies, including partner acquisition and ecosystem expansion.
- Negotiate complex commercial structures, pricing frameworks, and long-term contracts to maximise profitability.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and solution bundling to grow wallet share.
- Continuously assess competitive positioning and execute counter-strategies to win market share.
4.Cross-Functional & Regional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Solutions, Finance, Operations, and Regional Leadership to deliver differentiated, scalable customer solutions.
- Influence product roadmap and solution development based on customer and market insights.
- Align Thailand growth priorities with regional commercial strategies.
5.Sales Operations, Discipline & Governance CRM systems, Oracle NetSuite, and sales analytics tools to enable data-driven decisions.
- Drive adoption and effective use of
- Establish sales discipline through robust forecasting, pipeline governance, and performance reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase sales efficiency and speed-to-market.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
6.Customer & Market Leadership
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key enterprise and wholesale customers.
- Act as the commercial face of the Company in Thailand, strengthening brand presence and market credibility.
- Actively gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 812 years of senior sales experience, with substantial experience leading high-growth or turnaround sales organizations.
- Proven track record of driving aggressive revenue growth, market share gains, and large deal closures, preferably within telecommunications, technology, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong experience managing complex enterprise and wholesale sales cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and hold teams accountable in a high-performance, target-driven environment.
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly analytical with the ability to leverage data to drive strategic and operational decisions.
- Experience operating within a regional or multi-country structure is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Comfortable with navigating complex business discussions and managing international client relationships.
- Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for the Sales Manager position.
- This role will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.
