Job Description

Our client is a leading Thai manufacturer and supplier of automotive parts for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). They specialize in producing high-precision exterior and interior components, primarily outside rearview mirrors, interior and exterior lamps, and various plastic parts for both cars and motorcycles. The company emphasizes advanced manufacturing technology, quality control, and sustainable practices, supplying major global automotive brands

For this Sales engineer position:

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer (Chinese Speaking) to act as the primary bridge between Thai operations, Chinese suppliers, and major Chinese automakers located in Thailand. This role combines technical engineering expertise with commercial sales strategy, focusing on tooling design, sourcing, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the key account manager for Chinese car manufacturers operating within Thailand to drive sales volume.
  • Communicate and negotiate directly with suppliers in China regarding procurement and project requirements.
  • Translate and facilitate communication regarding tooling and mold designs between the internal production team and Chinese mold makers.
  • Assist the R&D department in sourcing new technologies and scouting potential new projects/innovations within the Chinese market.
  • Achieve Sales Volume KPIs as set by the management team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) or a technical business degree.
  • Previous experience in the Automotive industry or Tooling/Mold manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Native Mandarin speaking
  • Strong negotiation skills, ability to read technical drawings, and a result-oriented mindset.
  • Able to work in Samut Prakan, Thailand
