Sales Engineer - Motor Vehicle Industry (Thailand)

Your role

As a Sales Engineer, your mission is to drive sales growth for our business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. You will report to the Sales Manager and work closely with the engineering and product teams to ensure the successful implementation of sales strategies.

You will

• Grow and develop OEM and Tier 1 accounts within your territory.
• Build a strong sales pipeline and win new business opportunities.
• Become a trusted advisor for tightening and traceability solutions.
• Manage long-term sales projects and work closely with multiple stakeholders.
• Travel regularly to customer manufacturing plants across Thailand.
• Self-driven and results-oriented sales professionals.
• Strong relationship builders who can hunt for new business and grow existing accounts.
• Technically curious individuals who enjoy solving customer challenges.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing environments and being measured against sales targets.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics engineering - or demonstrable equivalent technical capability from industry experience.
• 3+ years of B2B technical or industrial sales, with a track record you can walk us through deal by deal: what you inherited, what you built, what you lost and why.
• Professional Thai and working English - English is our internal language for regional and global collaboration.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive to customer plants.
• Legal right to work in Thailand.
• Automotive OEM or Tier 1 exposure understanding of assembly processes.
• Experience in a multinational or matrix organisation.
• Mandarin - increasingly relevant given the Chinese OEM and Tier 1 base in Thailand.
• Existing CRM discipline (Salesforce or equivalent).
• Knowledge of tightening technology or the Atlas Copco product range.
