Now Hiring: Sales Engineer – Special Products

Location: Bangna Tower, Bangplee Samutprakarn

Department: PGP Business – SP Sales

Reports to: Business Manager – Special Products

Overview

We are looking for a driven and technically skilled Sales Engineer – Special Products to grow our Specialty Gases business. This role focuses on increasing sales revenue, profit, and market share through strong product expertise, customer engagement, and strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Revenue Management:

Achieve sales revenue and profit targets for Specialty Products.

Manage existing accounts and develop new opportunities across targeted industries.

Implement effective price management to drive sustainable growth.

Sales Planning & Reporting:

Prepare annual, monthly, and weekly sales plans aligned with business strategy.

Monitor actual performance vs. forecast and perform root-cause analysis for variances.

Submit regular sales reports and maintain accurate customer activity updates.

Market & Customer Insight:

Build strong understanding of Specialty Products markets, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

Gather and share relevant market and competitor intelligence.

Collaborate with internal functions including Marketing, CR, FiCO, Operations, and Distribution.

Customer Relationship Management:

Resolve customer queries and complaints promptly by coordinating with crossfunctional teams.

Deliver technical knowledge and valueadded solutions to customers.

Maintain strong long-term relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on technology changes and process improvements.

Complete Individual Development Plan and participate in quarterly performance reviews.

Key Interfaces

Internal: Marketing, Customer Relations, Credit Management, CMES, Distribution, Operations

External: Purchasing, Engineering, Safety, QC, End Users, etc.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • High sense of urgency and customer service mindset
  • Effective time and territory management
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with Linde products is an advantage
  • Strong financial understanding for planning and analysis
  • Skilled in crosscultural communication and conflict resolution

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience selling industrial or technical products
  • Knowledge of industrial gases is preferred
  • English and/or Chinese communication skills are a plus
  • Proven track record in solution selling, prospecting, negotiation, and closing
