Job Title: Sales Engineer Welding Equipment and Supplies (Including Welding Robots)
Job Overview: Kovet (Thailand) is a leading welding equipment and supplies company in Thailand, and we are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our team and contribute to the growth of our welding equipment and supplies in the industrial space. The Sales Engineer will play a key role in visiting customers, providing technical expertise to clients and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding technologies, a passion for sales, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
- Drive the sales of welding equipment, consumables, and robotic welding solutions to industrial clients across various sectors (automotive, manufacturing, construction, etc.).
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their welding needs.
Technical Support and Consultation:
- Offer expert advice on the technical aspects of welding processes, equipment, and robotic automation systems.
- Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions to showcase product features and benefits.
- Develop custom quotes, proposals, and presentations, ensuring technical accuracy and clarity for clients.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, customer service, logistics) to ensure customer requirements are met.
Product Knowledge & Market Intelligence:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the product range, competitor offerings, and market conditions.
- Provide feedback to the product development team on customer requirements and market demands.
Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Track and report sales performance, pipeline progress, and forecasts.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities and progress to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or technical sales, preferably in the welding industry or automation/robotics field.
- Proven experience in selling technical equipment and solutions, with a focus on industrial machinery and automation.
- Skills:
- Previous knowledge of welding processes, equipment, consumables, and robotic welding solutions preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to build relationships with decision-makers and negotiate contracts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand and meet customer needs.
